Jumping with surprise as a voice cut through the silence Kate looked around and saw MVP, feeling all of a sudden very nervous. Eyes wide for a moment she was completely breathless, "I-Yes, I was at the party. Had been watching you play, congratulations by the way," Getting off of the wall she crossed her arms in a slightly nervous act, she probably seemed like such a fangirl it was untrue, "I'm Kate."
Standing nervously a cop car drove by and ignored them both entirely, to the cops they were just two kids in the street, nothing unusual.

"Thanks Kate. Its nothing really any one could do it. Beside i am not the only one out there." she was nervous but that was probably down to the fact the cops had just driven past. "see you managed to give them the slip as well? i dont know why they just don't wait till the end and arest every one to drunk to stand. save them running after all those people." he leaned agenst the wall with a smile on his face it was good to talk to normal people. Most jocks were not that smart they got by on teh fact they could run and throw were M.V.P could also think.

"I guess its to stop trouble before it starts, but you have a point." Kate would have to remember that one the next time she did a bar room raid, wait for the people with guns to drink a lot THEN burst in. This guy did have a brain of some kind, shame he wasn't thinking of using it to bust some low lifes, but everyone had their preferences on vigilantes. His didn't seem to be so favourable.
"Its getting kind of late, I better get on home. You better get back before someone sees and notices you here." Kate smiled and folded her arms across her chest, putting her hands under her arms to keep warm looking at MVP for a moment she shrugged and turned and began to walk away into the dark.

"well i will be looking out for you at the next game. it was nice to meet you!" he gave the girl a smile and started to head off. she was nice to look at and well you never know but she had a point. tomorrow was a long day and he should get some sleep before training. He started to cross the road glad that it was quiet.
Slowly once he was over the other side of the road he broke out in to a small run.
