The Danger Room It provides a central and controlled location for training where the X-Men can learn to control and develop their abilities in normal and combat-like situations. The Danger Room employs four high-capacity Shi’ar computers that generate room-filling, 32-bit color images at 300 gigabytes per second, creating hard-light laser constructs of anything imaginable that are virtually indistinguishable from reality. The room itself is quite large, and there is a central control room and observatory overlooking it where the entire room can be controlled by a single person. |

The holding cells consist of small titanium-steel cells with the same type of door. Various safety measures can be taken such as erecting an internal force field to back up the titanium-steel walls, a nullification field to 'switch off' mutant abilities, and various other precautions. There are also stasis tubes which hold inhabitants in a state of suspended animation until they are awakened. |

Cerebra Cerebra using a spherical room design, with a suspended walkway leading to the users chair and helmet is a device which primarily amplifies the brainwaves of the user. In the case of telepaths, it enables the user to detect traces of other mutants worldwide. However Cerebra can not only locate mutants, but can also holographically represent recent memories of Mutants, Aliens, Humans and other sentient species in specific geographic locations. Cerebra has been upgraded so that non-telepaths can use the device though this is not advised and only authorized when no telepaths are available. |

The Hangar The Hanger is one of the very few places on the Estate that is actually as it seems it is just an underground area for the storage of the X-Men's aircraft, notably the Blackbird. Devil's Rock and now beneath the basketball court are the primary exit and entry points for the X-Men's aircraft, The Blackbird. Upon departure and landing, a klaxon will sound warning for anyone nearby to vacate the area. Students are advised to move immediately once the klaxon sounds. |

Front/Back Lawns & Courtyard The front and back lawns, like any mansion setting, are huge sprawling landscapes of green grass, flowers and the like. In the middle of the school is a small open courtyard which can be reached by several doors where stands in the center the statues of fallen X-Men, most notably Jean Grey and Charles Xavier. Here students can come and pay their respects to the fallen heroes. |
