Angus pored himself a sizable measure of the malt as his armoured shell stated to change back to normal. All over his body the metal was flowing, receding back into his skin to reveal the SHIELD uniform beneath. He smiled as the gun sights receded back into his head, revealing his green-gray eyes. He took a sip of his drink, savouring the sharp taste of the spirit.
“I’ll certainly look forward to seeing you in action. And yes, I will have plenty of time to talk to them later, but that means there is a limit to what you can do to them.” Angus watched as Adam left, taking another long sip of his drink and looking around at the unconscious gangsters. He nodded to Headhunter as she sat down, chuckling at her comment. “Of course I’d come, do you know how long it’s been since I’ve had a good fight!” He listened with interest to her suggestion, nodding in response to her offer.”I’m in, on one condition. I’m a NCO, not a leader. I’m no good at making strategic decisions, that’s your job. Leave me out of that, just tell me what to do and let me concentrate on the fighting.”

"Oof!" he said, wincing a little bit when his sister hit him in the ribs, but he laughed a little bit - they had a good relationship, just very occasionally antagonistic. "A future huh?" he asked, lifting a brow just slightly. "Well that's good." he said, not sarcastically, but sort of a quip nonetheless. He watched her go inside, then started to move himself - and stopped short, pants jerked by the tough vines.
"Hey!" he protested, giving his sister a slant-eyed look, and channeling a wind behind him and through the loops in the vines, shoving them apart and freeing himself without harming them - though he stepped away quickly before they could reclaim their hold. He looked over towards the bar then, wondering for a moment what they were all talking about, and running his fingers back through his hair. "Our first big bust, and not a casualty. Not too bad at all." he said, hooking his thumbs in his pockets and looking off in the distance as he saw the trucks start to approach.
"You know, I hope that IS enough trucks... although as long as they're out you could probably stack them four deep if you really had to." He chuckled a little bit then, looking back to the bar.
"Wonder what those two are talking about..."
((Sorry its short... I didn't have much to do here haha))

“Hmmm. Aside from the puns, I thought that was a very nice Thank You,” Adele said after Headhunter walked back into the bar. She herself slipped over toward the car and picked up the cheroots the other woman had left and, after smiling at Adam for being Adam, handed him one.
“I think they like you,” was all the apology he’d get from her for the vines. Sisters, after all, had to get in their quota of brother-teasing. With another smile that wasn’t quite a giggle, she slipped the other slender cigar into her bag. Adele didn’t smoke, but she enjoyed the smell of tobacco. Part of her was already wondering what she could do if she broke it into smaller pieces and planted them in her garden.
“A success by any other name. I’m sure they’ll find a way to get them all where they need to be,” she said regarding all the subdued mafia thugs without looking up at the trucks that were lining up along the street. Shrugging lightly at Zephyr’s not-quite-question, she slid her hand over the vines on the car she was next to, stroking them as surely as if they’d had fur and could purr back, though instead of purring there was the light rustling hiss as vines shifted, pulling back and shrinking away to leave several men trussed up like Thanksgiving turkeys rather than simply squished up against their cars. In fairly rapid succession, each car slowly appeared from beneath its coat of foliage, honeysuckle blooms falling to the ground to litter the asphalt in yellow petals as they gave up their prey.
The men in the transport trucks scratched their heads for a bit and looked at her, then at the men, then back at her. She just smiled and waved before taking a few steps back to stand next to Adam. Without even thinking about it, she slipped her thumb through one of his belt loops and glanced back toward the bar.
“Whatever they’re talking about doesn’t need us in there.” As always, she sounded very reasonable and calm, though he’d know in an instant it was worry that had her holding on to him like she had when they were young. He’d been shot at and, however fine and unscratched he was, he’d still been shot at. But she gave him a smile before slipping her hand back into her pocket once she’d realized what she was doing and gestured to the door with her chin. “Thirsty?”

Gwen smiled, finally relaxing when she heard Angus's response to her suggestion. Taking a drink from her glass she chuckled to herself, "Wouldn't have it any other way Obliterator my friend. No offence but I was hoping you'd offer to be the team's power house, you are the answer to the prayer of wanting someone to go in first and blow the Hell out of everyone in the room." Raising her glass for a moment and draining the rest of her drink Gwen stood up, taking something from her pocket she placed it on the table with a cigar on top; it was a white envelope with a SHIELD seal on it, "That's an official commendation for the alien war and the part you played. Was asked to deliver it in person...."
Walking out the door and looking at the two young agents Gwen smiled for a moment before pointing at the two, one with each hand, "Both of you, you're damn good at this which is why I've got an offer for you both: I'm putting together a squad, something within SHIELD but above your average agents, something that we do better than anyone else in the organisation we'll be the best within the elite. Only problem is, I'd want-no.......I'd INSIST that you both are in it. What you both showed tonight, I'm confident you're the kind of people I can trust not to make a rookie mistake."

"Just call me Angus,” he responded with a chuckle, taking a further sip from his drink. “I may not be very good at undercover operations or intelligence gathering, but being the first one into the breach now that is something I’m an expert at. Just tell me who you want dead, leave the killing to me.”
After Gwen left Angus picked up the commendation and looked at it for a few moments before slipping it into his pocket to read later. It had been a while since the war and the memories were a little painful. He hesitated over the cigar, he’d never smoked in his life but it would he rude to just leave it. Eventually he dropped it into his pocket as well, figuring he could find someone who did and give it to them. With that done Angus drained the last of his drink and headed for the back door to check on the goons who he had dealt with. The thought of taking orders from someone much younger than him didn’t bother him in the slightest. He knew what he was good at and that was fallowing orders, not giving them. Hell, I’d been taking orders from Sage for long enough!

He laughed a little bit and nodded. "Yeah, it was, huh?" he asked, looking back over to her and lifting a brow about the comment about the vines liking him. He didn't mind, though... they traded off on these sorts of things. So he finally just smiled a little bit and looked back to the men with the trucks, waving cheerfully enough when they started loading the cons into the trucks.
"Packaged for your convenience, guys" he said, laughing, then looked back to Adele when he felt her finger in the loop of his belt, and his eyes softened. "It's alright, sis..." he whispered, putting a hand lightly on her arm. "They never had a chance hitting me any more than they would you." He smiled a little bit then - she had a different way of blocking attacks, but even more effective than his, in truth... his he had to focus on.
He let her go when she let him go, then, and looked over to Headhunter when she walked back out. "Hey again." he said cheerily, leaning back against the less vine-ridden car, and listened curiously as she spoke. When she was finished, he thought for a moment, then looked to Adele, exchanging a few quick thoughts, then looked back to Headhunter - there was little chance of either of them being against this after all...
"You know... I think Dryad and I might be up for that... sis?"

I know. You can take care of yourself with the best of them, but someone has to worry over you and it might as well be me. You done good, Thorn.
Outwardly she said not one word and gave him another smile, a soft, quiet one with just the smallest edge of teasing. She didn’t enjoy having her emotions out for all to see, even if it was in the anonymity of a public sidewalk. Of course, the commotion they’d been a part of wasn’t helping with the whole ‘anonymous’ vibe.
So it was with a rather serene expression that she looked back over as Headhunter came out. The proposition was met with a look of surprise before she glanced at Adam. The exchange was quick and she nodded once to Adam’s statement, smiling a little. Yeah, there was very little chance of them being against it.
“If you insist, I suppose we can’t refuse,” she said cheerfully. “It’s a great opportunity. Thank you.”
How exciting! A huge bust, pat on the backs, and a sort-of promotion all in one night.
This totally calls for ice cream. I'll even buy.
