Powers: Thena has superhuman strength, able to lift c. 1200 pounds when not using her powers. When engaged in combat she uses cosmic energy to enhance her own physical strength and endurance. She can lift c. 25 tons. Like most Eternals, Thena has extended longevity, an ability to regenerate from injuries, can levitate ("fly") at will and use the Cosmic Power for a variety of offensive and defensive uses. Thena has low-level telepathy. She can communicate with other minds in her vicinity and scan the surface thoughts of minds less adept than her own. She is unable however to penetrate the defenses of other telepaths. She can alter the perceptions of other persons in her immediate vicinity, granting her a minor illusion casting ability. She also possesses like the rest of the Eternals, matter transmutation, mind control (exception being telepaths), telekinesis and teleportation.
Abilities: Thena is an immortal scholar with over 4000 years of studies in various fields. She also has excelled in battle for the same duration, although the spear and crossbow remain her favorite weapons. Thena is an accomplished athlete and a competent hand-in-hand-combatant.

Personality: Thena is a caring soul who cares for her family most. She loves nothing more than to engage in intellectual conversations about her field of work, hence why her job at Stark Enterprises suits her perfectly, she is able to put the many years of knowledge into good use. She will do anything to keep the peace and although slowly regaining her lost memories she chooses to stay on at Stark Enterprises instead of becoming a hero but does perform heroic acts when the time calls for it.
History: Originally born under the name Azura, but her father Zuras had her name changed to resemble that of Zeus' daughter Athena to seal the treaty between their two peoples. Due to this, she has often been mistaken for Athena. The city of Athens was apparently built for her, not the goddess, although Thena later allowed it to be conquered by the Spartans in 404 B.C.
Encountered Kro in Babylon 2,500 years ago. He had a chance to slay her, but did not; as the years passed, the two of them grew closer together. Thena and Kro made love during the Vietnam War, resulting in Thena becoming pregnant with twins. She placed them inside of Ms. Ritter, an infertile woman, who raised them as her own twin children, Donald and Deborah.
When Kro led his armies in an attack on New York, Thena opposed him. After Kro called a truce, he showed her Ransak the Reject, a genetically stable Deviant. Thena was convinced by the Deviant Karkas to grant both of them sanctuary. After Zuras' death & the subsequent departure of most of Earth's Eternals, Thena became Prime Eternal, but she was traumatized by her father's death & was being subtly influenced by a Brain-Mine Kro had placed upon her. She turned against Ikaris to help save Kro's life, but later relinquished her title to Ikaris. When she learned of the Brain-Mine, she was furious with Kro, but has since forgiven him.
Thena is married to Thomas Eliot, with a son, and is a researcher at Stark Enterprises. Like Sersi and Makkari, she was affected by Sprite's reality warping to have no memory of her past as an Eternal. Recently though after a hostage situation, Thena has slowly begun to regain some of her memories of being an eternal and has on occasion found herself waking in full costume after "fighting the battle to quell the Deviant forces on Earth. This has led to her realising some of the power she possesses.
