MVP stood in the Que at the bank, his mind was drifting. he had been asked about being a hero by captain America. No mater what you thought about heroes he was the all American hero. He was an icon and he said Mike could be something special. He had wondered if he was meant to be more than a sport star.
He took a few steps in the Que and withdrew his cash. he started to head towards the door. What did he have to lose after all if he did it and failed the training would help him in the future. If not he could be something that people could look up to, but still playing sports for a living was fun as well as being everything he ever wanted to be. he reached the door as some more people walked in to the building he held the door open for them to come in.
He looked across teh street wishing for something to show him the way. He wondered every day if he was heading in the right path. If any other hero had said what Cap had well he would not be thinking about it as much. They were a lot a like more than just being perfect specimens of humans but they were symbols in a way they both wanted what was best for the world. Were cap was out dated M.V.P was well the modern version?
They both in there own way were symbols of the american dream that any one could stand up and be counted on granted cap had fought in the world war while all he fought was other teams. But he did show that any one with the right diet and proper exercise could be a hero to people. Maybe it was his destiny to be more than a football player. The academic year started soon and well he owed it to new yourk state uni to give them his best. But he owed it to his family to be the best he could be. Ether way he had a lot to live up to.
He headed towards the bus stop and sat down thinking about it all. He watched as people walked across the street. How many of them had a chance to be this way be more than an avrage Joe? Ether way he was going to be a role modle to people and bring pride to his family the question was which path. Hero apart from a hand full were not know to be rich, But then again money was not everything but then all his life he would be living in the shadow of captain America. No that was not true he was a grate man and there was no shame in being like him?
He had earned his body spent all his life Training to be at the top of his game. HE pushed him self even more the day he had found out what it meant to be the grate grand son of the father of the S.S.S. People believed that it was all due to that drug but it was not. He did find it funny so many people had tried to copy it but his father grew it in a vegetable patch. That and just keeping in shape did what many had been desperate to do. HE felt proud that he was what he was but the question was still how to use it both had there merits. HE prayed for some sign to help him make up his mind.
He had spoken to his dad and he had been told that what ever path he took in life he would be proud of his son. It had not helped any but he was glad that he was doing right by his dad. It must of been hard raising him alone after mum died. If all else failed he could work for dad and well they were not really poor after all most of Kentucky had heard of Van Patrick Vegetables and most of the big hotels bought from them. They were award winning Vegetables and not just at local fairs but still that was his father dream not his.
