The building was old and condemned, it's doors boarded up with a large chain and pad lock to keep people out, but to the lone man standing just feet from it's concrete steps, it was a place he had called home when he was a child. Although it had been many years since he lived there with his mother, the man could still hear the voices of the other tenets while his mother hung bed sheets and clothes on clothes lines on the roof. He could also remember watching her take her last breath, a helpless child. He would soon leave, to living with relatives in the City. It's true what they say, you really can't go home again. He thought to himself, as he turned and walked off, walking away from the building, but not the memory of Steve Rogers' past.
Steve wasn't entirely sure how he felt about seeing his childhood home in such shape, part of him wondering if he should had purchased and kept it up, while another part knowing that nothing last forever, including childhood. All he was entirely sure of, was that it was set to be demolished, to be replaced by a homeless shelter, something that he knew was badly needed in the neighborhood. He stopped at a corner, looked both ways, before crossing the road and heading towards one of the few places still standing from his days as a young kid, growing up in Brooklyn's Red Hood district, a small bread store that he still visited, and was still owned by the same family. As he reached out his hand for the door, he heard a car engine rev up and accelerate, causing him to turn towards the sound, and then leap fifteen feet into the air, preforming a froward front flip, dodging a speeding red sports car that attempted to run him down.
Looks like the Hood is still trying to take us out of the picture! Guess I should remind him why I am Captain America! While still in the air, Steve raised his arms and slipped out of his tan trench coat, revealing his famous uniform with his tri-angle shaped shield, which he pulled off his back and placed it on his left arm, before landing safely on his feet. In a feat that surprised his would-be attackers, he ran after them, closing the gap until he was close enough that he simply lept at the speeding car, reached out his right hand, and grabbed hold of the passenger door, due to the window being down. The startled passenger pulled out a .38 revolver and began to fire at the attacking Avenger, who jammed his shield into the open window and deflected the deadly rain of bullets. Steve then placed his feet on the door, pushed off, and twisted his entire body and flipping himself over the car's hood, he drove both his feet through the windshield, and into the faces of his attackers, knocking out teeth and rendering both men unconscious. He then kicked out the passenger door, still holding his shield, and did a shoulder roll on the pavement, before standing up in the street, as the car crashed into another car, parked infront of a pizza shop.
It's a good thing there weren't any other cars on this road, or I couldn't have pulled off that stunt. He grabbed his shield, unjammed it from the window, and walked over to where the crashed car was, pulling both men out and tossing them onto the street, as a police car pulled up and two uniforms got out, and arrested both men. "Take these two to the RAFT, and inform SHIELD about this incident." He was sure it wouldn't take Director Sage long to learn of this, but he wanted it to come from the proper channel and not the press.

"Impressive MR Rodgers!" The voice came out of nowhere the hood was standing close but he kept him self invisible. He was so relived that he no longer needed to hold his breath to use this power as it did limit him in what he could do. HE smiled keeping him self clocked. "Those cops are on my pay roll as well as those kids in a hour they will be on the street selling drugs to kids." It was not a truth well a complete truth anyways. "Now if you start anything silly right now i will burn down that nice little bakery you frequent so much and have the family killed slowly and painfully." he walked away and head to the door of the old building that was once Steve child hood home. He let him self apear just long enough so Only some one of captain America skill could catch him.
He walked up to an apartment and opened the door he had arranged for it to be unlocked and well he knew cap would be itching to have "Words" with him. he was still sore and beaten from his encounter with Satans daughter but he was not going to let that stop him Digging the knife in.

He tightened his grip on the leather straps of his shield as soon as he heard the Hood's voice, recognizing it instantly. Steve knew that it didn't matter if his threat was genuine or not, he would not risk that family's safety. "Parker you coward, show yourself." Although he kept his voice just above a whisper, trying to keep himself calm, and not allow his anger to get the better of him, he searched the surrounding area with his eyes, trying to spot his enemy. Steve's senses were sharper than the average humans, almost on par with Logan's, as his eyes darted from side to side, and up and down. He knew the Hood was close, that he could be anywhere, but he also knew the man would be close by, wanting to be on the scene himself, rather than using a familiar to "see" through. He glanced over towards his old building, when he saw Hood on the stoop, walking inside, taunting him.
Not one to simply allow someone as dangerous as Hood to just walk away, Steve slowly and calmly followed the other man inside, and into the very apartment he had shared with his mother, all those years ago. From the way it looked on the outside, he was a little surprised that the apartment looked as though it was in perfect condition, on the inside, as though he could just move right back in. However, this surprised vanished as soon as he remembered that the Hood was a sorcerer, capable of casting powerful illision spells, and realized that this could simply be the Hood's way of getting him to drop his guard and leave himself open to an attack. "Not bad Parker, but your carnival tricks won't save you this time. Give up, while you still can." Knowing the Hood could attack from anywhere, he held his current shield close to his body, while his right hand tightened, ready to lashout a punch at his target.

"oh come now Captain. Do you really think i am that stupid?" he appeared sitting on the window, an evil smile on his face. he knew that this was a dangerous move but what he had planed was worth it. "I like this building its nice i spent a lot of money buying it and when the I Build the shelter it will pay for its self ten fold. Now i sugest you stand down or My men will make this whole area a dump, well more so than it is. When they done every kid will be hooked on crack. No one will want to leave there homes crime will go threw the roof."
HE rested back on the window he knew he could posibaly handle a beating for cap if he could keep him away from his shield and at a distance. If the man came close there would be no chance. "I see you could not even be bothered fetch your old weapon from the dump? Is that what you think of A symbol of America?"

He wanted to slug Hood right then and there, mainly for just because the man had dared to step foot in what was once his home, a place that he had spent his youth, until his mother died. "And what makes you think you'll even get that chance? I could easily cut your head off with my shield from where I'm standing." There was a determined, yet angered look in his eyes, as he walked towards the Hood, not knowing at that very moment that his former lover and fellow Avenger, Janet van Dyne, was attacking the mansion. All that was on his mind was making him pay, for everyone he had harmed, just so he could tell everyone he got one over on the Mighty Avengers. "You know damn well that my shield isn't even in that dumpster, you maggot! Now tell me what you did with it, or so help me, I'll rip you in half!" Steve wasn't aware that someone else had stolen the shield from the dumpster, defeating the mutant Cable, in the process. All he knew was that Hood took it from the mansion, and had been attacking people close to himself and Tony, including Pepper Potts, Tony's long time secretary and friend. It was because of that attack, that he had made sure Sharon Carter, her aunt Peggy, and anyone else that was close to him was under SHIELD protection. His face showing his rage, as he continued to walk towards Hood, his fists tightly clinched.

"now now captain, the game dose not work like that." a violent smile covered his face. "You know i think once i done here. I might pay a visit to your school and see how the kids are doing? Its such a cleaver idea putting all the hopes of the hero community in one place and well it make my job a lot easyer. Yes you could kill me right now but some one else would take my place. You know it and i know it, That person may not be as nice as i am. Better the devil you know than the one you don't." HE laughed at the irony of this not many people knew who teh deamon who powered him was and of that few less wish the did not know.
"Look as far as i know a Mutant named cable has it and to be honest, I dont care the damage has been done the blow was true. Faith in you has dropped. The same with teh pepper stunt. I dont care if its one or two people or a hundred your reputations have been tarnished. How can you save the world when you cant save your own stuff?"

As the Symbol of Liberty, Steve has always had to balance being a hero and a soldier. A soldier can kill their opponent, but a hero cannot, as they set examples for others to follow. He had always held back, preferring to simply knock out an opponent, rather than take them out, which was why he didn't kill the Red Skull or Flag Smasher, even though he had many opportunities to do so. Yet that didn't mean that he wouldn't kill if he had to, like Baron Blood, Baron Zemo, and a few terrorist were just a handful of people he had been forces to kill over the years, to save lives. He believed he was now going to have to add one more name to that list. "Game? You think messing with the lives of innocent people is a game?! You murdered a man just because he married a friend of ours! You maimed an innocent young girl, because she works for Tony Stark!" During his long career as a crime fighter, Steve had seen many things he wished he hadn't, from German Concentration Camps, to monsters that had once thought to be only myths, to seeing children gunned down in American streets, just because they wore a certain color or lived in a certain area. He was tired of the constant tragedies that he saw over and over, and felt this could not be allowed to continue. "Tell me, little man, just how much pain do you think you can handle?!" He lept for the Hood, the pointed end of his shield, aimed for the Hood's heart.

HE smiled he had no plans of fighting Fair. After all he was smarter than that. He threw him self out of the window as he faded from sight. Fighting Captain America one on one was like pissing against an electric fence, far two painful for words. Parker did not have that skill. HE rolled in the air lucky for him he could float and moved out of the way of the man encase he followed threw. Down below was a group of work men getting ready for the demolishing of the building. some of them had been employed by the hod others were members of his gang and some were relay workmen the question was which were which.

"Damn it!" Steve shouted as the Hood avoided his attack and made his escape out of the open window. He wasn't usually one for cursing, but the Hood had managed to get under his skin, not an easy task as many of his fellow Avengers could attest to. "You coward!" He wanted to hurl his shield at the Hood, as he floated away, but he knew that he would probably simply phase out or teleport away, leaving himself without a shield again. No, he would use his brain and think of a plan, instead of following Hood's lead. Clinching his fists tightly, Steve turned around and ran out of the apartment and down to the street below, where he encountered the Hood's men. He could tell by the looks on their faces who they worked for, and could see they wanted blood. His blood. "Too bad for you boys, I'm in a fighting mood."
He knew he sounded more like USAgent, one of his former replacements, than himself. A smile formed on his face, as he raised his shield and struck the group of men like a battering ram, knocking down all eight men on their butts, before grabbing one by his throat, lifting him off the ground, and tossing him into the brick wall of the building. He knew Hood was watching, and if this was like his last outing with Ironman, then chances were that this fight was being broadcast live, and he was being framed for assault. Ofcourse this was why Steve had called in a favor to another magic wielder, Agatha Harkings, one of the most powerful witches alive. He could hear the thunder bellow and the wind begin to howl, as the sky grew darker and lightening struck all around them, cutting off all satellite communications, preventing any over zealous reports from being able to come anywhere near this fight.
Steve then caught the fist of one of the men, as he threw a punch for Steve's face, then nailed him with a standing side-kick in his gut, followed by a reverse roundhouse kick to the man's temple, knocking him out cold. Before the man hit the ground, Steve slammed his right fist into the face of another of the Hood's men, breaking his nose and knocking him out cold. By this time, those not working for the Hood took off running, but before they could get more than ten feet away, they were hit by a slumber spell from Agatha, who was monitoring the fight from a nearby limo, their minds erased of the battle, leaving only tow of Hood''s men left. The last two men looked at eachother, before charging at Steve, who simply grabbed them both by the tops of their heads and used their own momentum to throw them both in the buildings brick wall, only stunning them. He wanted them both conscious, so they could still talk. "Tell me what I want to know, and you can walk away. Refuse and I'll break both your spines."

"well done captain, i want to thank you. You done so much for me today. You know i was wondering if my plans were working and now i know they are. " The men's head exploded as shells drove threw them. "You will be wondering how i got in to you base and stole your shield? simple do you wonder how it was so easy for me to get in i have several avengers working for me one of them just let me in." the cold smile appeared on his face as he floated in the air. "Its shocking how stark never told you the truth about pots show's there no trust among you avengers. Talk to him he will confirm that some of the avengers are now working for me."
he vanished from sight again and landed on the roof waiting to see the mans next move.

"Wha...?!" That was all Steve could say, as the brains of the two men were splattered all over the sidewalk. His eyes grew wide, almost in shock. Almost unable to speak. So this is what we're fighting against? If I didn't know any better, I'd say I was speaking to the Red Skull. This man has no consious, no remorse. Steve's eyes showed the rage he was currently feeling, as he laid the two corpses' down on the sidewalk, before looking up at the Hood's image. How do I know he's telling the truth? I don't want to belive it, but it makes sense. It would explain how he gain acess so easily, and how he seemed to predict our every move. After the Hood disappeared, Steve walked to where his Indain was parked, while Agatha made sure his prasence was never detected there, erasing it from the minds of the unconsious men, then putting a cloaking spell on both Steve and the rest of the Avengers, as well as establishing a barrier around Avengers Mansion, to keep him from easdropping on them, though it took nearly all of her strength and power to do so. I believe it's time Tony and I had a little talk. With that, he got on his bike, kick started it, and took off for the mansion.
