It was early Afternoon, she had no classes to teach so she decided to get her self something to eat. She had picked up her glass when she saw it. The news, her whole world slowed down as the glass slipped out of her hand. Slowly she watched it smash on the floor everything going every were.
He was dead Edwin Jarvis. The man was like a second father to her. He had been there when no one else had been for her mother. He had given her a way at her wedding. T.J God father had been killed, she could not believe it. slowly as she listened more and more to the story she could feel her temper building, but it could not Push past the sorrow. She had loved him, as a grandparent. It did not matter that it was not her worlds Jarvis. The pain was the same she. SHe wanted to scream but all she could do was stare at the t.j. Tears running down her face she wanted to colapse and roll up in to a ball.
He had made always be ok, No mater what it was that had been wrong. He never stepped over that line in to the shades a Grey that many avengers had. He had a job and he had done it, some one had killed him for it. She listened as The new reported that the person was of the hoods Gang. he had been killed just because he worked for The avengers nothing more.
SHe trembled slightly the School could be falling down on her and she would not of even blinked. She knew that who ever had killed him would have gods, monsters and mortals after them. they would also have her mother and her self to deal with. Her mind drifted back to birthdays of the old butler. He had been so kind to her saw her as any other child. she remembered how he had told her, that the best part of his job was meeting special people like her. That was the day she knew she was going to be a hero. she had not even noticed that some one had come in

"Talia Wagner..? Jarvis said you'd told him that... in your reality, you two had been close." a voice said from behind her. Tony was leaning against the door, but he stood back up fully and walked a little further inside, his eyes downcast, watching the floor as he stepped in, dressed in a business suit instead of the Iron Man suit... he'd come to the school a bit more incognito than the last time, in a car instead of a flying suit, like Magneto had asked - or maybe it had just been to not come here at all. Either way... he'd had something he felt like he had to do, and this was more important than however mildly irritated he might make Magneto because his celebrity status distracted the students.
Celebrity status... how many times had his fame brought him more pain than anything else? Like now...
Beyond the impeccably tailored suit, and the perfectly trimmed hair, Tony looked like hell. He hadn't gone so far as to use makeup to hide the dark circles under his eyes, and eyedrops hadn't been enough to keep the redness at bay for long. As much as Jarvis might have meant to her in her dimension, he'd practically been Tony's father after his blood father had died... he'd been the one who kept Tony going so many times when he'd almost given up as Iron Man... few people in this world had meant as much to Tony as Edwin Jarvis. And here he'd been killed by one of the people he'd worked so hard to take care of... he didn't care what had happened to Janet, she should never have allowed it...
She was dead to him. And there was a frighteningly large part of him that wanted to make sure she was dead to the rest of the world too... her and that son of a bitch Parker Robbins. Avengers weren't supposed to kill... Iron Man wasn't supposed to kill. And Tony cared less and less...
"He liked you... this reality's Jarvis, I mean." Tony said finally, pulling a card from the pocket of his suit and setting it on the table next to her. "I thought you might want to come to the funeral. I've been delivering the invitations in person." Tony Stark, the world's most famous industrial giant, one of the world's wealthiest men, and one of it's most famous heroes, personally delivering something as mundane as funeral invitations. It was a sure sign how important he thought it was... and it was absurdly inadequate. He closed his eyes a moment, barely keeping his voice steady, and turned away again, starting back towards the door.
"I haven't been able to find your mother, but if she shows anywhere... I've got one for her too."

"Don't.." her words were cold as ice. she did not look at tony. "You know i asked him once why he did it? Put his life on the line every day by working as an avenger, and he was one he was the soul of the team. HE said to me it was because he was not a hero but he could still do what was right. He believed in everything the avengers stood for. Now some punk has killed him for it, I know no avenger will kill him, because Jarvis would never want that."
it was true he was a man of high morals he would of stood up to the hulk or Thor if he did not believe they were acting right. She wanted to scream at tony yell at him asking him why he never protected Jarvis, after all he put his life on the line serving the avengers for long. "In my world Mr Fantastic did some mathematics thing and worked out what made the best avengers team. It was not you or Thor or even Captain America it was Jarvis with out him the avengers failed."
she looked away form the t.v "Jarvis would want the avengers to kill this person, But i am not an Avenger." her voice was cold she knew it she would kill the hood posses him and run him off a cliff or something like that.

"Don't talk to me as if I didn't know him." Tony said sharply, cutting her off at the end of her last sentence, though he never looked back at her, keeping his eyes on the door ahead of him. If he looked at her, it would give too much away... just how hard he had to try to keep it together...
"I know perfectly well what he was to the team, and I've seen Reed's calculations. But more than that, I know what he was to me. Stay out of it. This is an Avengers matter, and the Avengers will handle it. I believe Jarvis was the heart and soul of the team... and I believe he meant more to me than he did to any of you..." he said quietly, clenching his hands before she could see them shaking. "So don't you dare sit there and talk to me like that..." He stood there for just a moment more before he took a breath and walked straight out of the room, not once looking back. He couldn't... she was right. He'd failed to protect the man who raised him, and he wasn't even supposed to be able to take revenge. Maybe he couldn't kill Hood.
But then again, maybe he could. Maybe it was time to make sure the Hood never turned into Tony's Osborn. As that SHIELD captain had asked... 'how many people does the Green Goblin have to kill before it becomes Spider Man's fault?' No way was Tony going to let the Hood's murders become his fault that way. Assuming they weren't already...

T.j may of looked like her father but no one could argue she had her mother temper. Her temper reviled any of the house of magnus which she a proud member of.She stormed after tony he was not getting away with that. she tugged at him and swung her hand at his check to slap him.
"HOW DARE YOU? Do you think that only the high and mighty Tony stark is aloud to feel the pain of his death. That because i not one of the Avengers of this world that i am not hurting. I Loved him like i loved my mother and father. He was there for me when every one else was."
she wanted to keep yelling all she had at the moment was the rage. "TEll me did you ever get of your drunken ass and go shoping with him or spend time learning what he did when he was not running after you?" she was going to far now and well if she had not been angry she would of never started this fight. Right now it was all that was keeping from curling up and crying.
(sorry the minor god modding but feel free to avoid it. Just could not see any other way of outing it in.)))

((It's perfectly alright))
Her tug put him off balance, and he was still turning slightly when her palm smacked him across the cheek, snapping his head to the side, and he stayed looking in that direction, his expression almost unchanged, though he looked back down again as she ranted at him. "I never said anything of the sort. I said not to run off half-cocked after his killer." he finally whispered, taking her hand off his coat and lowering it before he let her go.
"He was all the family I had. And now I have to go finish making plans to bury him. I'm sorry." He turned and started away again. She might have had more to say, but he didn't know if he could hear any of it. High and mighty Tony Stark seemed to have a hell of a problem protecting anyone these days... Funny everyone else seemed to think he had such a high opinion of himself. In truth he'd spent a lot more time feeling essentially worthless than he had thinking he was on top. It just didn't do to let anyone else see it. Iron Man stayed behind his mask... that was how it was supposed to be.

T.J wanted to yell and scream at him some more but it was not the place maybe she had miss judged this earths stark? she had so many bad memories of stark's from her day as a reality jumper and well that lingered. "I am sorry" she mumbled she looked at her hand what would her father have said. Probably quoting the bible on companion or such like. she felt guilty, her world tony had died and Jarvis had gone to peaces and all the while she had wondered why Tony Stark had Drunk him self to death? she turned and headed the other way back to her room.

"Yeah. So am I." he said, and walked back out of the school and to the still waiting car. He shook his head as he climbed into it, letting the door close itself as the driver took off. He was running, in a way... but he wasn't handling it any better than she had. The liquor cabinet was more appealing than it had been in years... if he'd let himself slip, snapped back at her, even allowed himself to...
He was going to slip... either with the drinking, or with his armored hands around the throat of Parker Robbins. The question was how far, and in what direction...?
