"People do not understand my logic and i appreciate that, but in future i suggest you think wisely before opening your mouth and speaking to me in such a manner or you may just find yourself on suspension, Is that understood Agent?" She replied coldly. Of course she could understand the woman's concern at having someone like Damien on her team but there was method to her madness and in the end her judgment was not to be questioned on this matter. Soon enough they would understand why she had chosen him to join their team but for now she would keep them in the dark until they figured things out on their own.

"I am aware of his presence aboard the Helicarrier, things do not slip by me as often as you may think, As for the Agents that apprehended him, they are old school agents their training was before my rise to director and they are used to seeing stranger things so i understand why they questioned him first before escorting him to the holding facilities...Now if you do not mind I have to get down there and begin to question him myself" Sage said beginning to rise from her chair a little stiff from sitting down and the fact that her muscles still ached.

“Hey boss, I respect you don’t get me wrong…” Spider-Girl raised her hands in defiance and stood at the same time as Sage did though obviously much faster and smoother then the injured woman. “But hey I speak my mind, I tell it how it is and you signed me on. Take it or leave it boss I, much like you, don’t pull no punches even with the man… or in your case woman in charge.” She folded her arms and then slowly moved to the door to make sure it was open for Sage as she approached. “You want I should come with? Never know what could happen and in your state I don’t think you’re fit if things were to get out of hand boss.” Despite her little bit of defiance Spider-Girl, as she said, still did retain respect for Sage and as her boss she would follow her orders and do her best. That also meant she was concerned for her current leader and in the state Sage was in it would not take much to whip her, especially if the enemy was in top form.

"I will be fine, even in my state as you so kindly put it I am not defenseless, now excuse me there is a man awaiting my presence" She replied just as coldly as before while making her way slowly towards the door as her muscles began to stretch again after the period of sitting. Partly it was her pride that had made her reject Spider-Girls offer to accompany her, she could not let herself be seen as weak even in her injured state, foolish to some but she felt that if she showed any weakness now then other agents surely in the future would question her ability to lead in a capable manner.
