Cable floated above the island, She was here the first one of his new six pack. She was an omega mutant and one of his best students along with Sam. Granted in this world she had never joined with the new mutants and well that was fine. She was younger than he remembered But that was not something he cared about, at all. he watched threw other peoples eyes as she sat down at a bus stop.
It was now or never slowly he started to lower him self. He manipulated minds as he did Only Amara or Magma would know he was there it was a trick he found useful specially for meetings like this. The bus drew close to her and with a few thoughts and nudges from cable it drove straight past her. He slowly reached the ground and sat on the bench beside her. His long coat hiding most of his robotic parts. His eye however was glowing as brightly as always.
"Though brake missing the bus like that!" he was not sure how this was going to go. He knew he could take her all he had to do was shut her mind off before she ever had a chance to fight back. Then again that was no way to start this he wanted her to trust him and join with him, not fight him even his sheilding would not last to long agents the mutant.

It had been a couple of days since she'd left the Institute and they hadn't been exactly easy. She'd thought it would have been easy for her to leave her old life behind even if it turned out only temporary but it had been hard to glance upon the place she had called home for many years and know she might never see it again. She hadn't heard from Damien even though she'd sent him a txt message, she'd even swung by his apartment in the hopes of talking to him, asking him to come away with her, travel with her in the hopes they could work through his affliction and be happy together but he had not been home, so she'd left a small note under his door saying goodbye.
With the fact he hadn't replied to her message or been home when she visited it had placed doubt in her mind as to whether or not he cared as much as he claimed to but for now she was sitting at a bus stop about to start a new chapter in her life, first stop...California. If he wanted to follow he might find her if she stuck to the journeys she'd planned out and detailed for him but if not it really was the end. The bus approached and she began to gather her back and suitcase ready to climb aboard however the bus did not stop, instead it continued on and Amara sat back down about to curse under her breath until she heard a male voice address her she turned to look at the stranger and was immediately suspicious when she saw his glowing eye "Who are you?" she asked her eyes narrowing as she glared at Cable wondering if she had already gotten herself into trouble this early on in her travels.

"Nathan Summers, but people call me Cable now. California over rated Amara, there nicer places like pairs and even Australia to travel to." he gave her a warm smile. "Don't worry i not here to hurt you, and no i have not read your mind I can tell by your body language that your thinking this could be bad, But i am one of the good guys." his memory drifted back to his past and when he first meet this woman she had raw power and no skill, it took her years of training to master her powers.
He knew that maybe this was the wrong way to approach her. " I am sorry for approaching you in this way but it was probably the easiest way and once this is done i will take you were ever you want in the world as way of an apolagy.

"How do you know who i am?" she asked taking in his name and what he said "Did they send you here to try and convince me to go back to the institute? because thats not going to happen" She said turning more towards the man and lowering her voice "I don't want people knowing what i am so please just say what you have to say and then leave me alone, i just want to be normal for a little while and if that means taking regular transport then so be it" She sighed, even when she wanted to get away from it all it seemed people like her had a way of walking into her life and then well things never turned out the way she had envisioned them.

"you want the long or the short story? The short is i am from the future. The long one is well just to complicated for a bus stop. No i am not From there i not welcome there much, The only one who welcomed me was my father Cyclopes. Why are you scared that people will attack you because your a MUTANT." He raised his voice for the last world and no one even batted an eye lid. The walked on as if he had said nothing. "They cant see me Amara, only you can. It make life simpler that way. I am puting togeather a team of heroes and i would like you to join.
Now i know you want a normal life thats fine, I would love one two. People like us don't get that enjoyment. You can try but you have a good hart on you and you want to help people. I dont know what it like to be your age in this world but i understand the wonder lust people have. my offer is this you work for me, I will train you to use your powers and have full control in return i will give you the chance to see the world go places and while you are doing this. Its a chance to help the world and see it at the same time."
he smiled hoping she would say yes. "Before you say yes or no come see my base of operations let me show you what i am about then make your mind up and i promis if you say no i will never ask you again."

"I don't know" Amara replied feeling uneasy about this entire meeting. Although it was true no-one had noticed when he had raised his voice she couldn't help but worry that she would be outed as a mutant and face the persecution she had seen many others face. "I just want a normal life, how could i have that if i worked with you?" she asked. Although his offer was tempting she was still scared of what it might hold in store for her. Training to use her powers properly? That may not go as well as this man might hope, after all her powers could be somewhat unpredictable because of her mood. "Where is your base?" she asked out of curiosity. Although nervous and unsure this guy was offering her a chance to help and see the world at the same time and she couldn't deny she did long to help people but also to see the world and if she did accept his offer she may well work out what she wanted from life.
